Statins treat lab values, but not much else, says Michael Eades, MD

Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com “This study shows NO evidence that lowering LDL cholesterol decreases the prevalence of heart disease And [yet] what [the authors of this paper concluded] from this data is that we simply need to treat more people. Brilliant!” This is a quote from Michael Eades, MD author of “Protein Power” on his blog, Nov 19, 2009 www.proteinpower.com “Researchers found from 1999-2000 to 2005-2006 the prevalence of high LDL cholesterol dropped by a third And since everyone knows that high LDL cholesterol causes heart disease, it should go without saying that during this same time period the prevalence of heart disease [should have decreased]. Right? Uh, well, no, not really. If anything, the prevalence of heart disease actually increased.” “But not to a statistically significant degree.” [Actually, it is statistically significant which I will show you in another video about the paper.] “They’ve just taken another grievous wound to their favorite theory and haven’t even got sense enough to know it.” “I find it interesting that whenever scientists discover data that shows the opposite of what their hypotheses predict they don’t conclude that their hypotheses might be wrong, instead they deem the contradiction a ‘paradox’ and bumble on ahead with their hypotheses intact.” “Here in a short interview is everything that is wrong with mainstream medicine today.” “they’re discussing how to use extremely expensive medications that are not particularly benign

Two cholesterol drugs, Zocor plus Zetia, increased the risk of death by 4% - Part 1

Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com fatnews.com larryhobbs@fatnews.com A 4-year study found that the combination of two cholesterol-lowering drugs - Zocor (a statin) plus Zetia - did NOT reduce the total risk of death. In fact, the overall death rate was 4% higher in people given these drugs. This may have been due to random chance, but at the very least, it shows that that these drugs did absolutely no good whatsoever. But wait. There’s more. People given these drugs had more cancer. People given these drugs had more congestive heart failure. People given these drugs had more strokes. People given these drugs had more violent or accidental deaths, which may have included suicides. People given these drugs had more deaths listed as “other” or “Could not be classifed”. So the bottom line is These drugs did NOT reduce the risk of total risk of death but they DID increase the risk of cancer and death from other causes. I will post separate videos showing the increased risk of cancer and other problems associated with these drugs. How many doctors and patients would take these drugs if they were told the truth? That is, if they were told “These drugs will NOT reduce your risk of dying “But may increase your risk of cancer” ” suicide” ” violent or accidental death” ” congestive heart failure and” ” stroke.” Furthermore, what if doctors and patients were also knew that These drugs have NEVER been shown to to benefit people over the age of 65 as noted in BusinessWeek, Jan 17

The issue is a concern for many Americans, and you or someone you know is probably affected by high levels of cholesterol. It can often be helpful to hear from someone who has dealt with the health concern. In this video, you’ll hear from Paul DiMeo of Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. A physician informed DiMeo of his high cholesterol at a routine visit. DiMeo explains how he attempted to lower his cholesterol naturally with diet and exercise — followed by a prescription statin.
